Default How accurate is Track Your Dream?

I have a 2022 GTS on order and been tracking it using the TYD on myPorsche app.

When I go to the TYD, it says current milestone as "Scheduled for production for 05/18/2022!" With next milestone being on 05/27/2022 "Start of Production"
It does show a VIN number.
We are way past those dates and now in June. Is TYD accurate or just for generic information?

I have the Porsche App, but I can't locate Track Your Dream. It just says "Your vehicle is now schedueled for production". Do you know where I can find the details you have?

Thanks,

Thanks,
click "discover current phase" and scroll down. there should be a red button that'll bring up your TYD.

OP - mine has been on point to date. But a friend of mine just had his car surprisingly show up and his TYD didn't seem to work at all. Best of luck.

There are many threads on this already. For most people TYD is accurate and the car arrives earlier than scheduled.

Both accurate enough and inaccurate and sporadic enough to drive you crazy.

I'm also stuck on Scheduled for Production, since 5/25. Production Start should have been 6/3 last Friday. Currently I'm still on Phase 1: Order Created in Overview. No VIN yet.

Hmm...there isn't a Red button with that. BTW, I'm in Canada, so not sure if TYD is available here. Thanks

here is a quick video.

If you don't see TYD it could be something to do with order change. Few months ago, the order number got changed and I could see a car on my TYD, but I couldn't see the details. Had to email Porsche NA and they fixed it and associated the correct order to my account.

Here is a small video if this helps.

It's entirely possible your vehicle has been scheduled for production but is being delayed from its estimated start date. Lots of movement on those dates due to a multitude of factors. Best bet would be to call your dealer and have them check on the status in their system. Also, are you doing Euro Delivery? I only ask because I noticed your Est. Delivery Date is TBD.

No it is local. Could be delayed. But its odd I can't even see the TYD button. I'll email Porche to see if they can help

Mine is scheduled for Euro Delivery in LEJ on August 25th. Plus I do have the Black AeroKit. So could be all because of that.

Wasn't sure if TYD is accurate or not. But as many mentioned it is for some not for few! It is what it is.

If you have a VIN, production has started.

TYD isn’t available in Canada, only a less-detailed (and arguably inaccurate) feature in the My Porsche app and website.

For me, the app stopped updating sometime around when the car went into production and it reappeared just before the car landed in Halifax. App says it’s still on its way even though I took delivery last week.

Thanks. Good to know. I was hoping I could see a picture of my car when it is finished in production. Also, would have been fun tracking the ship on the way here. lol

When/how do you get your VIN? I need to get insurance.
