My thought is to get a color - that would be something other than black/white/gray.

But that is my thought - and I agree with a post above - only you can choose the color you like. While I get lots of compliments on Gentian (and I simply love it), the fact is, even if I never got a compliment, I would still be thrilled with my choice - cause I picked it and I love it.

AG with the Classics or Spyder wheels, not black.
Chalk wit the Classics or Exclusive wheels, again not black.
or consider Gentian Blue with the Classics.

I would not get black. I think either Chalk, AG, or GB are great options. Likewise, while GT Silver is "timeless" as is white, I would get Agate before I got GT. We have a silver Macan and silver is boring.

I echo the sentiment that black wheels do not help.

Waiting on my Targa 4S allocation and am going with Aventurine Green. Not even considering any other color. Good luck and enjoy whatever you decide!

Just a quick comment, on my comment….the AG may be one of those colors that the Porsche “build” portal doesn’t do justice to. Go on pictures from owners, or YouTube videos for better representations of what the color really looks like under various lighting situations. It does make a huge difference.

Those wheels look great on your car.

Thanks. One thing I did was to black out the red calipers…so they are almost unnoticeable, and doesn’t serve to distract from the rest of the rim/wheel..

I think they make most cars look ghetto, cheap, and overall lower the look. Personally I find the aesthetics of a black wheel horrible. I do like wheels with a polished silver face and some black elements in between to give structure and depth. My XC90 wheels are like that. The Exclusive wheels look better with the addition of black to make the silver parts pop and they look overall better that way. But I think the fad of black wheels is over, and overdone, like people who still pick Carbon Fiber trim. I think that too is a bit overdone and passe. And every time I see pics of someone new 992 or a build sheet with black wheels I just move on. Maybe that is my taste, but to me I see it as others lack of. If you like them, that's your prerogative.

Color is eye candy for sure. Once you’re driving it, do you even think about it?

Beautiful car.. I like the silver on it too.

Ive reached out to the local dealership to see if they have anything in AG to look at but they were pretty low on anything previously.

That aventurine with the back wheels is HOT. Black is always nice, but having some contrast between body and wheels is nice to me.

You can never go wrong with black, chalk was cool and unique a few years ago not any longer, and aventurine you don't see as often.

Live a little and get something a little different without going overboard

100% in agreement…and along that line (does not apply here)..,unless one is serious about tracking (where it makes perfect sense), never understood the concept of putting on a fixed big *** wing on the back for street use? In that regards, I’m glad Porsche has the retractable spoiler on the 992, and for the GT3, now offers the “GT3 Touring”…which is a clear marketing/sales decision based on what many customers want?

But whatever the buyer wants, the buyer should get.

100% agree. Pick a metallic color unless going with a turbo which has more lines and contrast for a flat colour!

Great color choice with the wheels and aluminium molding. My build is the same and will post photos when I collect in a couple weeks 🤞
