Same, mine were all at 55 psi believe it or not.

It’s slower, sounds like crap, drives like a Fiat Abarth, and couldn’t stop on a dime if it had 10 piston calipers, front and rear.

So, my very first drive in my new GTS Coupe was yesterday. I took “the long way home” by driving from North Atlanta to SE Tennessee. What a great weather day and drive! I drove about 140 miles and while in break-in mode I was able to work some curves on roads specifically chosen for the twists and turns. Basically, I drove home via Fort Mountain for those knowing the area. Here’s my driving impressions:
The car is laser sharp in terms of directional roadholding (granted below the car’s limits)
Interior tire noise is noticeably less than my 991.1 S and 991.2 C4S that had Pirelli’s (the GTS has Michelins no idea if it is the tire difference or not)
Engine sound is greater, and I did not hear any turbo woosh that I used to hear with my 991.2 (this is a great thing IMO).
I don’t miss 4WD or RWS one iota I had on my 991.2 C4S.
Love the new interior layout and so far, PCM is intuitive for me using and setting up (got home yesterday and got up early this morning to complete setup).
Gas mileage just under 25 mpg.
Fit and finish is impeccable (no surprise here).
Zero regrets on my spec. If I had to do it over, I would not change anything. Here’s the build code: http://www.porsche-code.com/PNZRZWA8
Here’s some pictures at the summit of Fort Mountain, GA.

Gotta say, that light green interior has really grown on me. It's a lovely combination, enjoy!

Picked her up today.

Coming from a GT3

All I can say is I am impressed. It is worth the wait. Shark Blue is unreal. The depth of the color is incredible. I can not believe this is not PTS. My Wife said She hated it in all the pictures I showed her and she was just checking it out in the drive way and now She really likes it.- Women!!!!

For a Turbo- the exhaust sounds pretty darn good and they said wait till after 500 miles. Exceeded my expectation and the Videos do not do it justice. Lets not even begin to compare to my former GT3 which had a bypass and after an hour you probably had enough. But the GTS is tolerable and I will not be doing any mods to the OEM set-up. Turbo lag- what Turbo lag. Okay- It is no GT3 which is NA but boy have Turbos come a long way.

I am going stop. This is a little teaser. Will report back more on Sunday evening.

What a car!!! My favorite to date. You could DD all day long

I'm more curious about the noise difference vs the S. Personally I think the S sounds just fine but what I've gathered from reviews the GTS sounds amazing. I wonder if there really is that significant a difference- and if the noise insulated glass and/or lightweight package factors into that, and by how much.
That is what I am interested in. I hesitated to get the GTS because it reportedly was noisier inside and am planning to use it as a daily.

What I can say is the low end punch is very strong and you can feel the full 420 lb. ft. at just 2300 RPM! The manual trans. is one of the best I've driven. Short mechanical throws and very precise with tight gate spacing. Although downshifting from 6th - 5th can be a little tricky as it's easy to find yourself in 7th if your not deliberate with the shift. Clutch take up is very light and with great feel. CCBs of course are amazing and for those that have not experienced a 911 with rear axle steering it's a real game changer. Suspension is surprising supple when set in Normal or Sport as the Targa GTS does not have the lowered suspension or helper springs of the coupe/cabrio versions. Sport Plus really firms things up and handling limits are still way beyond what's needed for most street driving. IMHO it's the best of both worlds. Sport exhaust has a nice throaty sound and my sense is will sound great when given more revs. Even after 100+ miles it still has that burning smell and should go away soon. After bedding in the brakes I took it up to 100+ mph. Even while short shifting the run was effortless, calm, and the cabin remained very quiet with minimal tire or wind noise. After coming out of three McLarens build quality is just on another level. Material/fit/finish A+. Good luck to all and the wait will be well worth it!! Cheers
That burning smell emanating out the back of a brand new 911 should be bottled and sold

not sure which body style ur considering but my Targa GTS is very quiet with minimal tire/wind noise. Really can't go wrong with any of them. Good Luck!!

Default Awesome car

I have had a 992 4 GTS since November (having come out of a 991 4S). I think the GTS is now a notch above an S/4S as the suspension differences, extra power, exhaust sound and cosmetic touches combine to make it more than the sum of the parts. Car is fiercely fast (I didn’t see anyone could need any more on the road tbh) and feels really special. I love the GTS interior and centre locks and the ride is fine for a DD (my 5 year old fell asleep in the passenger seat on a recent journey!)

All round awesome awesome car

That’s a great number plate and car of course. Mine (4GTS) completed production Thursday. Collection on 21.4

I suspect if the Turbo or Turbo S weren’t significantly more money, most buyers of the 911 would have selected the Turbo as their top choice?

Point being - There will always be some of us, myself included, who will seek more power/speed…for the street, or the track. . Some on here have already bumped the S/4S….with stage 1 power bump up to 545 WHP….for only $2.4K Seems like a cost effective solution for more power/speed, although still not up to the Turbo’s capabilities, nevertheless, it has moved up.
