Sales tax alone is over $11k for my $155k build in Ohio. Full PPF is additional $6k.
Who are you going through? Assuming Byers

I'm not sure what the tax rate is in Ohio, but Virginia state and local is about $6500. I lived in Gahanna/New Albany for a few years so I can commend the Northern Virginia area if you want to relocate to save a few dollars.
I'm in NA/Blacklick/Gahanna, taxes are a racket here.

Sales taxes are (as far as I know) charged at the rate where buyer is located, not where the car is sold.

I was #1 at Porsche Dublin, and #5 at Byers. Took the allocation at MAG first, and a few days later, Byers told me it was mine if I wanted it.

Default Allocation detail

Can anybody tell me how the details of allocations work. Is a 4GTS a different allocation to a 2GTS? Same true PDK vs manual?

thanks

4GTS and GTS are different allocations
manual and pdk is set by the customer and does not pertain to a specific dealer allocation
