I think Jason is saying is that cars built through around the middle of October would be model year 2022. Deliveries of the late production cars would be into November or maybe early December. This sounds about right considering that people were talking about taking delivery of MT '21 cars during December of 2021.

In the back of my mind, I guess Ive had that often referenced "August" holiday/shutdown as the demarcation of the model years switchover, hence my question.
Now for more to ponder, I wonder if the configurator will change over this week like last First of April...??

Assuming you obtain an allocation, could anyone school me on what final pricing looks like? Off the cuff example would be a base car or S model with basic upgrades coming to $130-140k on the Porsche configurator.
What is an all in guestimate (getting on the list, delivery/doc fees, vehicle) on where it would land? Im not clear on if base/S models are seeing the same amount of markup the Turbo/GT3s are.
Feel free to DM if more useful.

Assuming you can get an allocation, you can look at MSRP as your best price (some dealers will demand ADM). This would include: the price of the car plus any options you choose and delivery fee. Document fees, taxes and misc. fees will vary by area and are extra. Have fun with that configurator!

Allocations are generally every 3 months. However, allocations due in February this year were delayed to March. So who knows, we could see allocations as early as May (if Porsche returns to the normal schedule) or we may not see them until June.

Care ARE arriving, they are just all sold. I was at Chantilly (Virginia) Porsche yesterday getting parts and here you see several new Porsches, including a GT3, Targa GTS, Cabriolet GTS, 718 GTS (manual trans) and an assortment of new Cayenne's and Macan's.

Agreed DRCollie.... Buzzed down to DC to see a client yesterday and stopped in at Arlington P (a dump but new bldg on horizon) and they had a number of seemingly soon to be delivered new 992's, taycans, etc plus some overpriced used 992's but DC is a hot market so Im sure they get what they want.

Sales tax alone is over $11k for my $155k build in Ohio. Full PPF is additional $6k.
