From several Porsche dealers-the numbers will be much lower for 2021 and 2022. Much lower.

I think that will result in very low numbers for the 992 GTS. The reality is if they can’t get wiring harnesses and chips there will be less cars delivered. I have no doubt the demand will stay high but the ability for Porsche to fill orders in a timely fashion is going to be the difficulty. This will subsequently make them rare.

Picked up on Friday and spent a lovely weekend with her before dropping her off for PPF/Tint/Ceramic on Monday morning. Should get it back Thursday, then we're heading out on a road trip with it! ATL to Chicago and back, with a few stops along the way. Can't wait to take 500 pics of the car in each city lol.

Spec code: PNEL12U9

The manual says we need to do a break-in under 4K RPMs for 1,875 miles; preferably long trips, refrain from short ones.

Chicago to ATL is great for that.

Ha! Very funny. I decided I would give my car one full (extended range) tank of gas before trying launch control. I've been relatively gentle overall, but I have taken it to redline (not WOT) and have not been shy about taking it above 4k RPMs. I've heard from multiple people that these engines are run in from the factory, and that some percentage of them are actually run on a dyno to validate performance. I'm not concerned with the low-grade abuse from a few seconds of aggressive throttle input -- besides, after a few seconds you're at "straight to jail" speeds!

The trip culminates into a final leg from Knoxville back to Atlanta the long way, via the tail of the dragon. Super excited for that, and I'll definitely be past break-in mileage by then!
