Beautiful car and spec. I ordered my 992 GTS coupe with light weight package manual Dec 2021. Was told 15-16 months. Fingers crossed that is accurate as I think about it every day and really envious but happy for those who have already received their cars. So now almost 6 months in and it feels very far away but gives me something to look forward to as I have dreamed about this most of my adult life.
Someone backed out of their allocation and I got slotted in last month. Mid August delivery date. I was able to customize it before it got locked but I only had a 24 hour window. The only thing I wish I would have done is maybe deviated stitching with the 930 package. Some things didn’t make it because of the feasibility test. Shark blue, black interior with CL wheels and high gloss black calipers. Originally I spec’d with pdcc and aerokit but didn’t pass the feasibility test so I had to go without it. I also changed the wheels to CL from the Spyder wheels after remembering how much of a b*tch the spyders were to clean on our Macan. Went with yellow bits for contrast. Was not sure about the seats. Both are nice with 14 ways being a little more comfortable but 18 ways being more aesthetic. Ended up doing 14 ways with 930 interior and I like the way it looks.

I'm glad you chose fully painted mirrors. I find that it looks so much better than mirrors with the unpainted lower portions. Nice build overall!
Quick question do you think that the 992 gts will become a limited edition car not because that was meant by Porsche but because of the realities of wiring harnesses and chip shortages due to Covid similar to what happened after the market crashes in 2007/08 where the 997.2 indirectly resulted in limited numbers due to limited production numbers?

not even remotely a possibility unless something else catastrophic happens to reduce demand. they're making thousands of them. Porsche has reported relatively stable NA deliveries over the past 3-4 years, all 8-10k 911s per year. There's no evidence that this year will be any different.
