I think that will result in very low numbers for the 992 GTS. The reality is if they can’t get wiring harnesses and chips there will be less cars delivered. I have no doubt the demand will stay high but the ability for Porsche to fill orders in a timely fashion is going to be the difficulty. This will subsequently make them rare.

I currently have a GTS Aerokit build with a 7/7 freeze and start of production 7/29. Fingers crossed we see those dates without further delays. But my allocation was given out back in December, so I definitely have seen the delays caused by that option (as well as a few others).

You are lucky @TN_3 if they do not change anything in your order. Do you know when your SA entered it in the system? After some digging, my SA determined that the switch to Pending on freeze and delivery dates was due to him adding the Aerokit to my build. The system removed the Aerokit automatically the day after, and freeze and delivery dates showed back up as originally shown when the order was first entered (with no Aerokit). So, Aerokits are definitely not an option anymore...

I would not bother with your build if you picked aerokit, and it hasn't been rejected by now.
My last build update was 12/21/21, and lock date wasn't until 3/18/22.

Yeah, I’m done. Not touching it again. I was hesitant to add the last few options but I knew I wanted them. Luckily it still took, even though it did delay me, which I assumed would happen given the options.

That's Agate grey? This is killing me!! My build is in and every time I think I've "locked" my build I make the mistake of looking at 911's!! My god that Agate grey looks like I have to change my color!! You've taken a great picture!!

I had an allocation I got late last NOV 2021 and when the Aerokit was added it sent the dealership a blocking note. If we removed the Aerokit the car went v200. My current allocation was entered the day (Feb 2022) the dealership got the slot and went V200. I've dicked around and it's went V150 and a couple hours later always goes V200. 100% I've got a GTS coming with the gloss black Aerokit. One note the Sales Manager has told me, if we enter a new build code that will screw everything up and could stop the car from going V200.

I was in Vegas and the guys over at Vegas auto Gallery have a Turbo S in shark blue and after spending time with the color I changed it. It's a NO!

Yeah, I think this is just how it is with the Aerokit now. It's disappointing but what can you do. When my dealer initially called to confirm my allocation a few weeks ago, he told me I would have to drop the Aerokit unless I wanted to wait. My car is currently scheduled for production on July 8th and I'm planning on factory delivery in early September. He initially told me adding the Aerokit would delay production by at least 2 months so I told him to delete it. I recently asked him if he could check one more time before the build is locked in mid June and he told me not only the Aerokit but several other options (I think Carbon Ceramic brakes, light weight glass and a few others which I didn't tick) were off the table if I wanted to do ED still this year, it just isn't an option. So I'm guessing the Aerokit is effectively EOL for 2022 cars.
I believe it is in one of the confitions or something like that too.
Aerokit did add 8 weeks extra. I am in the same boat as you. Picking up in Leipzig in Late August. But my order all went through smoothly, just no changes. Build starts today!
