I just heard on TV that Porsche has stopped production of new Macan's Taycan's and Panamera's. They said that the wiring harness for these models are made in Ukraine thus no supplies for new production.

Ukraine also produces 70% of the neon gas used for semiconductor production. Another leg down, real an exaggerated, coming for the entire auto industry. And the overall economy.

There’s no way JPoww is going to raise rates.

Wiring harnesses for the 911 are also made in Ukraine. The 992 production cut-off is this month as well.

My SA told me that only the Macan and Panamera are effected by the plant shut down in Ukraine. Those share wiring harnesses between Audi and Porsche. The 911 wiring harness is not effected and should not change production. Clearly this is a fluid situation and things can change at any time.

According to TYD my build date is April 8. Thus far, that has not changed. I was concerned that I would see a substantial delay, but so far things seems to be on track. Time will tell.

I wouldn’t rely on TYD; at best it’s a reactive system using data 2nd or 3rd hand from the actual production schedules. Least that’s what it appears after watching it in action for a couple of years. Get your dealer to pull up the current schedule on their systems, likely to be much more accurate.

Also, Ukraine produces ~50% of global Neon, not 70%.
