This is consistent with my build timeline. My GTS was supposed to start production on April1. My dealer confirmed a week or so ago that it was still scheduled for production, on time, despite the news we all heard earlier this month. Fast forward to yesterday, and according to TYD my car is in production, a couple of days early.

Interesting- Spoke to the GM of my Dealer; and they are a pretty large Dealer. He conveyed that they are sold out on 911s for the next 4 years.

This is crazy!!

Are they even stopping production? There is no updated news regarding the stoppage.

What's the annual average for 911's per dealer? 60-100 depending on size?

That doesn't line up with what alot of people are posting here. Look at the various allocation threads, I haven't seen anyone posting that they were told "no cars for 4 years".

Our GTSs are literally on the same line together on Friday!

My dealership currently has a 24 month delivery wait. It is crazy indeed.

Current demand doesn't neccesarily mean it's accurate in 6 months. This is a moving target. Dealers may be boasting now about demand, but let's see the actual follow-through when this recession gains steam. Strong probability in years time it will be a very different outlook.

I’d take those estimates with a grain of salt. Everyone gets on a list when cars are impossible to get, and then they bail when the 20 people ahead of them decline the allocation.

People keep making the mistake of seeing every bump in the road as the beginnings of a recession. From what I can tell (which isn't much) we aren't there yet. Last I checked the stock market was still trading near all-time highs.

My car is overdue and still no news on when the build will start Spoke to my OPC today and they said they don't even have a build date yet and the car was due to be delivered this month. He said wiring harnesses are the problem. In the grand scheme of things, it's a wonderful problem to have, so I will not complain.

Let's see....
  • Record inflation
  • FEDS tapering off QE
  • Record money printing/stimulus (about 1/5th of all money in circulation printed in 2020 alone)
  • Foreclosures up 704% in January (mortgage forbearances tapering off)
  • Record household debt (~$15 trillion)
  • Record mortgage balances
  • FED hiking 6 more times
  • Record food and gas prices
  • Record used and new car prices
  • Average P/E for S&P 500 is ~16 now at 39 (we call this a bubble)
Yeah, definitely no signs of an imminent recession on the horizon....

So I presume you have liquidated all of your stock market holdings?
