first, I love "Woos"
Anyway, I went way back to page 68 and found that the 2022 configurator was live!! on 3/31/22.
I wonder what PC will do this year considering ongoing supply issues, inflation, demand, war, FelAce sinking, etc. with core pricing once the 2023's are announced.
To that point and for those veteran watchers here, in years past has P generally announced the new model year first of April prior?
Or considering many of the points above, might they delay 2023 announcement?
For those like me who put deposits down in early 2022 and have yet to hit their allocation, it could equate to a 10% price increase say over someone who got a 2021 with a modest neg. discount. I get it that the folks who wait 2-4 yrs for GT cars go thru cycles of price increases that might be somewhat expected in the "high-line" space.....but hell, Im just waiting for a pedestrian coupe.

There are members discussing this on the GT forums. Several dealer confirmations of this news. For reference "CP8" is production completed date. The CP8 for my GTS is 4/22 and my TYD dates have not changed yet....fingers crossed. I would suggest to check with your dealer.

I do not have TYD due to my car being a special allocation to the dealer. I am told my car is not affected by these issues but I suppose time will tell. Hopefully all the issues get sorted out quickly.

Dealer ordered cars and allocations can be set up in TYD. My Taycan 4S is visible in TYD despite originally being a dealer ordered car.

To be more precise, if your 992 CP8 date is March, Porsche is saying that you should be good. If your dealer can't confirm that date for you, you're probably not in good shape. Given the dynamics of this environment, I wouldn't count it as "sure thing" until the car is at Port or on a boat. This, of course, presumes that the ship doesn't do a Felicity Ace. 😜
...yeah, really not a "sure thing" until it is sitting at the dealer getting PDI'd. 🤞

Order was placed and locked on 11-6-21. The order goes back to Porsche until the new building passes a inspection by Porsche and then the car goes back to the dealership inventory. Like I said it was a bonus allocation based on the new building. So in this instance it is not a typical dealer ordered car as you describe above. The dealer has checked with their rep and they are being told my car is not affected by any of the PDCC, PCCB, or Ukraine issues. I have no reason to think they are lying.

I am not saying that they’re lying, but a lot of dealers have a tendency to tell the customer want they want to hear. An assertion that your specific car isn’t affected by issues that are affecting everyone else doesn’t sound quite right.

I would ask them for a more detailed status as to where the car is at in the process. You can also ask them about the CP8 date.
