Default Felicity Ace Reorders

Thread is for those effected by the Felicity Ace fire?

Wondering what others have heard on their new rebuild and delivery dates. I was hoping for a "priority" build as Porsche promised this in their response to the incident, but not really what I've come to find out. My new build is mid June and my delivery, if all goes well, is mid August. Doesn't seem to be prioritized too much.

Any others receive new build/delivery dates yet?

Thanks for starting thread. I have not heard anything from dealer or TYD on rescheduled build dates.

Sorry that you all are going through this mess - it’s frustrating as hell.

Talking with someone today, my random guess was 4-6 months best case. Since all of our cars are built to spec, Porsche has to manage the logistics chain that orders the components and gets them to the factory to build a car. August would be slightly under six months.

Of course, I really don’t know anything about how they work. And as I said, this whole experience sucks.

+1 on supply chain, logistics, etc. I lost PDCC, not available, anybody else lose an option which was important?

I got my updated TYD link for my GT3 from Porsche a few days ago. I was supposed to take delivery in a couple of weeks. Now, production will be complete in early September and Delivery in late October. I'm thinking I pick it up from Zuffenhausen in mid September and drive it for a couple of weeks while I can enjoy it before winter comes here in Denver.

6 Months is priority based on just in time manufacturing , production line is frozen roughly two months in advance and earliest re-builds are likely late May or June. It sucks for everyone impacted, but Porsche seems to be doing everything they can. They can’t rebuild the cars next week..

Placed my deposit for a manual Boxster GTS4.0... Hoping for late spring / early summer delivery. This is the end of an era for the most glorious of engines, and I'm just glad to grab one before it's too late. Will be a keeper for sure!

A timeline for my car

Estimated completion date Feb 18
Euro Delivery date Jun 11 (date currently reserved until PAG confirms the Euro delivery upon completion of build)
