Default Luggage comfort acsess

Hi all,

I know most wouldn't use the luggage comfort access but I use the compartment every day for bags for work etc. Some time ago the comfort access worked, waving hand across the badge, but now nothing, only way is with the key or in car switch etc. A pain when keys in pocket, coat on etc. Any ideas why it's it not responding, tips etc?

Are you at the correct end:

Lol yes at the front. Keyless works on all the doors etc, just not the front luggage compartment

Wave below and to the left of the crest. Or, just about anytime you are washing the car with the key in your pocket.

I run my finger down the centerline over the curve of the bumper. Works nearly every time for MY 22 C2S with Sport Design Bumper.

Arrears so above the bumper, not the crest on the bonnet?

For me I sweep my hand from the crest directly down to about 3 inches onto the bumper. No actual touching of the car is needed.

This works reliably for me, but it is definitely different from my 991.1.

Isn't it easier just to press the button on the fob? I've never liked gesticulating at my cars hoping it registers and opens the trunk. Several of our cars have had this "feature'.

i have been sweeping across the badge as that seemed logical, now sounds like inline with badge but at the bumper. Will try it tomorrow. Also put new battery in remote too, just incase lol

normally yes but first thing in the morning, car keys one pocket, house keys another, mobile on inside pocket, wallet in another. Trying to then find which pocket has car keys, just to pop the bonnet lol

You are correct. Here’s the Porsche ATI bulletin with additional info on this and comfort access.

I literally laughed out loud. This has been my experience exactly.

Looks like I have a fault. Spent 10 mins this morning, swiping left to right, up and down, all over the front end and nothing
