Reading over all of these threads makes me wonder what the general consensus is on Python Green vs Gentian Blue. My 992 Carrera S is Gentian Blue and is super pretty. Now I am double guessing my color choice on the GTS. I went with Python Green, but I'm thinking it will be too flashy? Too much attention?...
Anyways, can I create a poll on here? Gentian Blue or Python Green GTS?!? Be honest...
Between those two, it’d be GB for me. I think green would eventually get old.
Hi - just curious but in what way do you thing green will age? As in paintwork will look tired or car will date?
Friend had a 2018 991.2 GTS in Viper and looks as good as new. Recently saw a new 992 S at Silverstone in Python with high gloss black Aerokit and looked outstanding. Whenever I stumble across an old pic of something like a 1970s 911 in green I think they look great too.
Both great choices. The last thing you want to do is ask for consensus on colors, when so many people buy utterly boring no-color cars. Buy the one that excites you the most.

Exactly, vast majority of even 911s are grayscale. It's a sports car; it's ok to be flashy!
Do you care about being discrete?
Python Green makes for a considerably flashier 911 and everything that comes with that (attention from people and police). It will also look dated in a few years.
Gentian Blue is not a common color. It's got great pop and like Aventurine Green, dynamic with different lighting. It is discrete.
If you want flashier than the blue, you might also consider Guards Red or Racing Yellow -- two color classics.
As of a few weeks ago I would have said GB for sure. It's a great color and no one would know that you upgraded to a GTS more than likely as most people don't really pay attention or recognize the differences.
But I was in the detail shop I use recently and they were in the process of applying PPF to a Python Green 992. It was drop dead gorgeous! I didn't think I would really like it that much but I did. However, as others have already said, you WILL get noticed, big time!
If that is not a concern, I think it is most definitely a color you should give some serious thought since you already have GB.
