Python Green will age very well just as the early 911 Longhoods have.

Python green is a non starter for me - nope. If you want bold, lava, or any of the reds is the way to go.

PG is a bold color but suits a sports car well. A bit too bold for me - I went with GR instead!

Having seen all the bold colors in person the best looking bold car I saw was Lava Orange with Truffle Brown interior. I went with GB.

But I was in the detail shop I use recently and they were in the process of applying PPF to a Python Green 992. It was drop dead gorgeous! I didn't think I would really like it that much but I did. However, as others have already said, you WILL get noticed, big time!

If that is not a concern, I think it is most definitely a color you should give some serious thought since you already have GB.
This is the comment that changed my mind. Keeping the same color makes my upgrade more subtle and less flashy.. I changed my color from Python Green to Gentian Blue. The Carrera S I am getting rid of is jaw dropping under the night lights. Can close this thread. Thank you everyone for your opinions.

Default Love the Green but

I miss my GB constantly. It is different enough to be noticed but not screaming look here. It seems to change in different lighting and is not boring or so common like the Jet Black I have now. (If given choice would have Gentian for sure.) On second thought...The Green is outstanding, especially on the GTS but you might not want to be noticed every time you take it out. So my vote is blue. The only issue is if you keep the other blue it might be to much?
What a bad predicament, deciding on a color for your new GTS. I am jealous. Enjoy it whichever one you pick.

Python green by a mile. You'll LOVE the change, the color is perfect for a 911 and you initially wanted it since you went with your gut. Your gut was correct. When it comes into your dealership you will be blown away when it's unveiled to you.

Python Green for sure.

GB is a nice color don’t get me wrong but I see almost same color on every VAG product. Just today saw a Q7 and Q5 in what looked almost identical to GB.

GB is a great color but I think the black GTS trim was intended for brighter shades. After seeing the press cars all in the bright non metallic colors I went with lava orange instead of my usual black just for that reason. In my opinion, darker shades of blue are the only colors that do not pair as well with the blacked out trim and wheels. The former sapphire blue would be the darkest shade I personally would pair with black wheels. That’s just my own preference. Python is a bold choice it was on my final list.
