Aerokit stop sale on all models?
So I know there was a previous stop sale on the Aerokit for base and S models, and the GTS could be configured with it but would result in an up to eight week delay. I had one dealer tell me that now the stop sale has been extended to all models until 4/22 allocations. Just got an allocation for a GTS and configured it with the Aerokit. When dealer put the order in it was not producing a delivery date so we are wondering if the Aerokit is the issue (confirmed commission number).

It continues to be a supply chain issue.

My order (GTS) and allocation was received and made the first week of November with aerokit.
I recently updated my order with a few changes, and still have a delivery date of 6/17/22.

Ugh, just had my allocation come up and now need to decide if I should have them skip me and wait for the aerokit to (potentially) be available again.

My sales guy said he’s going to see if it updates in the next few days and if not, he will reach out to see if the Aerokit is the culprit. Nothing confirmed at this point.

Lost my Aerokit allocation a couple of weeks ago, days before my lock. Made a build update that kicked the order back and could only resubmit without the aerokit. Your problem is almost definitely the Aerokit.
I’m going ahead with my spec, without aerokit. I see one of four options:
1) OEM aerokit eventually becomes available from parts dept or suncoast and i get it installed.
2) A satisfactory aftermarket unit is made. Maybe even cheaper than OEM.
3) I trade my car in, get roughly what I paid for it, and get an allocation with aerokit next time they come around.
4) I just end up not missing it that much and never do anything about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sure, that was not well worded. I had a production and delivery date (in March) that I lost by changing my build.

The GTS can't be spec'd with the AeroKit either. Sure, it'll allow you to add it, but you will not go to V200 until it is removed. It is on stop-sale across all 911 models. The 4/22 date is merely speculation, as dealers have been "predicting" availability ever since it went on stop-sale 7/1/21; even some May allocations - like mine - would not go V200 because of the AeroKit.

As far as I’ve seen, if you get a freeze date and delivery date you’re golden. Just don’t make any additional changes or you’re liable to lose it again like me and have to play aerokit roulette. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I am using your experience as a guide, and I am very hesitant to make any changes....but of course I am now contemplating adding the carbon buckets. My freeze date is in May, so quite a ways to go, but I'm still nervous to change anything.
