That's not entirely true as I mentioned in the other thread, but I'm wishing the two of you luck.

Hey guys. I ordered a GTS on Dec 15th. The dealership told me Porsche did not accept the Aero kit when he submitted the order, so I had to order a GTS without the aero. Hope this helps.

This is more in line with what 99% of people are experiencing regarding the AeroKit.

My February build GTS was kicked back for aerokit AND the black side protective film, that now seems to be removed from the configurator. I guess I’ll have to save $300 and buy the suncoast ones.

I ordered an S with the aero kit.
Lock was mid October
Start production was 11/19
Completed 12/14

Sounds like this is totally hit and miss on aero kit orders.
Good luck to all.

The 4/22 date is merely speculation, as dealers have been "predicting" availability ever since it went on stop-sale 7/1/21; even some May allocations - like mine - would not go V200 because of the AeroKit.

This isn’t true. I placed my deposit early July 24, 2021 for a GTS COUPE with aerokit, received allocation 11/4/21 with lock and delivery date, V200 status.

Maybe they ran out of aerokits for later orders 🤔

edit: I wonder if they’re allocating them for higher MSRP builds? My original build was $157k, but it’s $155k now. Mine isn’t really that optioned compared to some of you.

What was your allocation date?

My dealer just contacted me and relayed that the stop-sale will be in effect through April 2022 builds. That information was relayed to him by Porsche corporate.

That correlates with the info I posted in the OP. Good to hear and probably why my later allocation was accepted with the Aerokit.

Oh that’s why. It was the allocations from 7/1/21-on that were affected, although my May allocation got canceled too.

Isn’t it weird that something as basic as a fixed wing would cause so much disruption for such an extended period of time? I mean how many individual parts go into a car? And out of all those parts it’s this wing that continues to be an ongoing issue for Porsche.

BTW my 11/3 allocation / build includes the aerokit. I have been in and remain in V200 status (even through changes to my build in late November). My freeze date has now passed (12/17), production scheduled for 1/21/221 and my delivery date still shows 3/11/22.

those builds have already been allocated. And I imagine would lock in the next month or two.

Is the aerokit made out of plastic? There continues to be an industry wide resin shortage affecting all industries. I work for a medical device company and we’re struggling to get components required for products that save people’s lives.
