Any other 992 owners tempted to sell?
I've had my 992 C2S for almost 2 years now, and while I love it, looking at used prices has me really tempted to sell.
Anyone else in the same boat? My problem is any car I would switch to would be a downgrade. The BMWs look god awful to me these days, and the Benz are all automatic. Same with Audis (I love my manuals).

Not a chance - I bought it for the lifestyle and experiences associated with it. If I sell it the odds of easily replacing it in a timely fashion are extremely low - and I lose all of the experiences I seek. So, again - not a chance.

I understand the financial appeal of selling.
But then you don’t get to have this highly coveted car. And that’s no good (for me)
Depends on how much you like/love the car

I'm jumping out of further BMW loyalty after years of owning them due to the heinous beaver tooth grilles they're putting on their cars. It doesn't help that manual trannies are only available in 2 cars (M3/4). I've got a 650 Gran Coupe that I believe is one of the prettier cars BMW has made in recent years. I'll keep it till it falls apart as it is a great car. I'd never sell a 992 because I want to make money when there are no palpable alternatives at the same price point.

Every now and then, that thought (selling 992) jumps into my consciousness like the truth being told by a politician. And then I go out for a drive and suddenly, I **DON'T** remember what the question was anymore.

The 911 is one of the few remaining dedicated sports cars left on the market. AMG and M cars are really cool, but they aren't 911's. Go to the BMW forums and they will tell you the same thing. Once the novelty of having something new wears off, you will regret it. I was considering trading my 992 C2S for a 991.2 GT3 but was not at all impressed by the trade in bids I received.

I sold my 2020 992 4S manual just 1 year after ownership - with no qualms what so ever... I did trade it for a nice profit for a 2022 992 Targa 4S manual, so I guess I do not count :-) Of the 8 911's I own this is one of my favorites. Maybe tied with my 1972 911 T Targa...
