PDCC TO GET OR NOT ON GTS

I debated the same question 8 months ago when I got my allocation.
After speakeing with many people who had RWS and PDCC (and also FAL) my decision (on my 23 C2 GTS) was: definitely get RWS, and skip PDCC and FAL ... save the 6K and don't need it on a GTS...
MY SA and friends said "you can't get PDCC on a GT3, how critical can it be". -- you can get FAL on a GT3...
Seems like the right call 6 months after delivery.

If I could do it again, I'd get PDCC. It helps with the ride quality and stability at 140+ mph. Neither might be an issue for most folks though.

yes it does I briefly hit 174 in mine on a deserted turnpike recently and it was super stable.

All you need to do is look at what Porsche specs for the various trims. RWS on GT3 for track times, pdcc and rws no on the S/T as Porsche themselves says it provides a more traditional feel. GT3= track times, S/T = on road driving dynamics.

To be fair, the deletion of RWS and PDCC on the S/T is more for weight savings than anything else.

In their marketing material they specifically mention the elimination the systems for driving dynamics. Although, your point is taken that the weight elimination may have more to do with that than the systems interfering. Either way, their deletion means something to the feel of the car. Without the systems per Porsche, the car will have more familiar analog, less artificial feel.

My 4GTS handles very well and I prefer the slightly more natural SPASM but non-PDCC feeling on regular switchbacks.
It's at sustained high speeds of 140+ mph that it doesn't feel totally locked down and reduces confidence.
PDCC helps with that stability and tires and tire pressures are obviously key.
The GT3 is much stiffer and doesn't need that tech or the additional weight.
Just my two cents.

I’m a fan of PDCC (and RAS), have it on my GTS. It’s noticeable even when highway cruising. Reduced body roll, more planted feel.
Also need to push back on the nonsense about it inducing nausea. 100% not the case. It literally does the opposite for my driving experience. It’s also implemented very well, nothing about it feels unnatural.
Prior to the GTS I had a base C2, and that was a body roll disaster. Granted the GTS has MUCH firmer suspension, so not even apples-to-apples here.. but I really wanted to eliminate body roll as much as possible without going to a GT3. I track my car occasionally.
