No envy here, as it is not a great car for street use.

Not in a million years. And I only have on order a "base" C2 Cabriolet.

I so love the GT3 and don't find the Touring anything to write home about at all.

I love every P-car, whether it is better than mine, more expensive than mine, cooler than mine, faster than mine, or whatever.

I think the Touring would be the very last one in the entire lineup that I would be interested in, let alone jealous of.

I should have my Touring allocation available within the year. My TTS arrives in November. I love the idea of the Touring and, financially speaking, I would be a fool not to take it - but I don’t do track days and on Northeast roads I probably wouldn’t be able to fully appreciate it. I’m still torn at this point as I like the idea of a NA MT car.

How is a GT car not good for the street, or not a good daily driver?

I daily’d a 991 GT3 for over 20k on the ODO, and it was a pleasure every single mile.

Except for the back seats in the regular Carrera, the GT cars can do everything the regular 911 can.

The only downside to the GT3 or Touring as a daily driver versus the regular 911 is MPG. But then, it’s only money …

It’s a manual NA car take it, soon they will be gone.

I don’t believe in envy. Someone out there always has more money, nicer things, nicer house…it goes on and on. Life is too short to worry about that crap.

Honestly, if you really feel that way about the GT3T, then do something about it. Sell the Carrera. Find a GT3 Touring. Buy it.

It’s gonna take some work and paying an ADM, but you’ve got to spend your money on something. Might as well be something cool.

I would still get a regular GT3 (instead of touring) if I were getting one. I would want that wing with its downforce.

I mean, I wish I had an 812 GTS. Alas, I’m too poor to buy one. That doesn’t mean I regret my 992. If you can afford the GT3 and want it, just get it.

Nope. I love my TTS and I have a deposit on a GT3RS.

The only car I would trade my TTS for right now would be a Touring. I think it’s the best of both worlds, high revving NA, with MT trans , in a package that does not say “I’m a racer look at my wing”.

Anyone I’ve heard that own them love them and I do like the exclusivity. When people say not on the street I’m not sure what that means. If you drive bumper to bumper freeway driving then maybe I get it. But why can’t a GT3 in any form be driven on the street, a little harder ride sure but not bone jarring, high revving only if you want it too, I think it’s a special car. Of all the many 911 iterations that don’t make sense to me this one does as it’s actually different and not just a normal 911 loaded up with options.

I’m nearing the end of my work life so I only drive to places I want to and in a Touring would be just fine. Problem for me is I’m anti ADM and just could not get myself to write that check. So I’ll stick with my TTS.
