I heard similar but that its more like late Jan, early Feb. I'm confident he gave me good info because I'm first in line for a C2. Also heard that this last round of allocations was heavily weighted towards the Macan and had very, very few 911s.

[QUOTE=JiminyGlick;17795904]Isn't that a little early for the 992.2??? Or what exactly does "freshen" mean?[/QUOTE.

They were expecting a C4S allocation in Nov, but got nothing... Asked me if they could get a GTS ( not clear if 4GTS or 2GTS ) faster if I'd be willing to swap... Of course for a 4 GTS I'd be willing to swap. I pretty much spec'd the C4S with all the standard options in the GTS. But I'm not holding my breath at this point. At this point, I'm about to write Porsche directly and plead my case. I shouldn't have to go begging for an allocation. But it seems unless you've bought three Macans, a Cayenne and a Panamera from the same dealer and ripped out a left kidney to leave as a deposit to "show interest" no allocation is going to happen.

I'm still on the fence for a 992 purchase. SA told me they are getting a partial allocation in Dec. Their last location was heavy on the high dollar side. He thinks I could get a base next no problem this time.

So I have an opportunity to get a C2 at MSRP delivery early summer 2022. Already in production; can’t spec to my choice. Already spec’d with about 25k in options making sticker $127k. Jump on this opportunity since it seems like everything else has a crazy wait?
Side note I’m on a list for a GT3 with deposit for a GT4RS as well but getting impatient. This C2 will just be an interim car until I get my GT car and hope to lose minimal value on the C2 in that waiting period

That's interesting because I had a C2 also offered to me recently and its arriving this week. So that's at least two C2 orders where buyers backed out at delivery time (presumably). Don't want to draw too many conclusions from that (small sample size and all that) but it's an interesting data point to consider.
