Yep, that was my assumption as well - the PDK being surprised by more power than it expects and panicking, shutting down to protect itself from damage. I'm also on 93 stage 2, but wasn't running E85 and it was probably in the 50s outside as well. Maybe my car was just in a powerful mood that day
I’m not sure how many others have really tried the E85 tune on stage 2, haven’t seen others talk about that stage level with pdk (I have catless downpipes, PSE valves open, bmc filters, stock IC and stock plug gaps on my C2S); at those levels it should be hitting 600whp according to M-eng’s graphs (others like @4rings above are on stage3 / 93 with the 7MT and no issues)… but E85 hasn’t ever really worked for me on wot/hard pulls especially during these colder days (never had any real issues with 93 however). Was hoping the pdk tune would be the answer for this too, though it’s not the main reason I got it done.

Stop running e85 bro…. You gona make something break and then you gona call me and ask me to help you drain your tank before you try to take it to the dealer.
But to all reading this, with the ME PDK tune the car drives much better. Got a chance to drive @reddsektor the other day and it was much closer to my 720s on power output.
highly recommend

Hi Guys,
I have a 992 carrera base 2020, with STG2 + cats off.
I would like to know if someone fixed the Clutch slip?
to fixes the clutch slip i just need to do a PDK tune? Or is something going wrong with my ECU TUNE?
Thanks

Update: after doing the pdk tune last week and car running well and strong on the 93 tune, I got a chance to fill up E85 (right after the hard 93 run) to try that one again, and unfortunately got the same “transmission failure warning” on my very first hard pull in auto sports+ from 3rd gear as soon as it hit redline; didn’t even make it to 4th. Outside temps were 49 F. Sent the logs to @M Engineering so we’ll see.

I received an updated full 5-min E85 flash a few days ago, and did a couple of hard pulls. This time I did not get any more transmission fail errors. But… I immediately started getting very loud popping noises at max redline during shifts from 2nd or 3rd. It could have been exhaust backfire.
So after sending these logs, they sent me the newest flash today to alleviate that issue, and after doing a couple of runs now the car is finally driving and shifting smoothly with stage2 E85 at redline, without those noises or any other issues. It’s running strong. The pdk (tune) feels great. Will try doing some more hard runs over the next few days to verify and update.
The continued support from M-engineering is fantastic.

992 Carrera 4 S
We have a 992 Carrera 4 S we just installed a Soul Exhaust on and a Stage 2 M-Engineering flash on with the following options:
PSE Exhaust Valve Modifications
Loud Cold Start Elimination
Auto Start/Stop Elimination
We are having issues with the exhaust valves, only one side is opening as expected, the RH is only opening 20%.
We have gone through the adaptation process via PIWIS, and can confirm both valves work as expected can be commanded open and closed and works as expected 100%
The valves in the exhaust operate freely, no resistance at all. ( we have also operated the solenoids with them disconnected from the exhaust to make sure the exhaust s not the issue.)
We are working with M-Engineering and they have been very responsive, just looking for some more ideas as we just cannot get them operating correctly.

been running the tune just almost 2 years now and 27k miles later went and replaced the original plugs.
original plugs still were in good shape
went back in with new OEM plugs gapped down to .022
