fantastic, im super happy with the power delivery. I did a WOT in 3rd from 60 and it was scary fast. I can't imagine a TTS tuned. I can't wait to get my headers on.

My TT now feels like you are passing through a wormhole.

You thinking the headers are going to add a nice sound?

So I've been worried about the compatibility of the tune with track use. But, as I've come to realize, it is so easy to load and unload the tune, I can simply flash back to stock for track days and when done put back the tune for daily driving. I think that solves my dilemma. Sign me up!

We have a number of clients running our tunes on track, but yes, back to stock is a very easy process you can do just for that!

Just curious, is it because it's too much power for track use?

I have had the tuned car on a relatively high speed track and had no problems. The delivery of power makes it very easy to modulate speed as the big bump in boost comes after 4000 rpm and the power delivery still feels very linear. I have a do88 intercooler installed and felt no perceptible drop in performance related to heat over a run session. The oil temps never got above 230 degrees but ambient temperature was in the upper 60’s. I typically put in about 5 gallons of 100 octane per tank with the rest being 93.

^ I take it you are running the 93 octane map?

Ive wondered if putting higher octane gas on a map limited to lower octane compression ratios does anything to boost performance. Anyone wanna chime in?

No I'm worried about the heat. I am in Florida and summertime air temps are in the 90's. Boosted cars have a hard time anyway without adding even more boost. I don't want to risk detonation issues.

An appropriate concern and my rationale for installing a bigger/more efficient intercooler and the 100 octane splash. I will probably still pass on the mid-summer events in Georgia and Alabama

Yes, you did all the right things. I think that's why I can feel ok about the tune as long as I don't try to use it at the stress levels the engine sees on hot track days. We have longer run sessions around 45 minutes so that adds to the issue. Thanks for your feedback!
