when you’re waiting on ups, they take their sweet *** time 😂🤣. I went and bought a laptop this morning too.

edit; UPS finally showed up at 5pm CST.

I rushed home and ran the ECU read and promptly emailed it to M, Hopefully M Engineering is able to work their magic for me after hours 🙈

Thanks!

Got this code today which I cleared. Anybody know if this is of any concern? I went ahead and sent it to the M Engineering team:

P013F-O2 sensor delayed response - Lean to rich bank 1 sensor 2 - pending

It's from the sport cats. It took a few revisions for the team to squash it for me as well.

Nothing to worry about

^ Thanks, I sort of figured it was an emissions thing. I’m not worried.

Ironically, I had sport cats (the smaller diameter ones) all last year with stock calibration and it never threw a CEL!

Agree with supershaft. Definitively an O2 sensor calibration issue related to your sport cats and new map.

That will easily be handled.

I have not been able to notice a clear difference with the files M has sent that are supposed to fully open the valves when the PSE button is pressed. Have you looked inside the exhaust at idle?? Stock set up opens the valve slightly. With the M file I would expect the valves to open fully at idle, but they open the same as stock.

^ I find it hard to believe that the exhaust doesn't sound much different with the valve open.

Check out Fabspeed Motorsport's analysis of the PSE on Youtube. Here is what happens:

Valve closed: exhaust goes through the smaller tube and into the muffler. There, it "mingles" through a bunch of openings, and gets recollected and back out into a small tailpipe
Valve opened: exhaust goes through a much wider tube. That tube goes into the muffler but straight back out. I don't believe that there is any exhaust "mingling". The muffler definitely dampens the sound, but it should be way louder than with the valve closed.

sounds like we’re seeing the same thing. I haven’t looked at the exhaust at idle but will try to do that. I also emailed M-Eng about it and they said they can send me a flash to go back to oem valves to compare so let’s see.

Here’s what I know: when I press my exhaust toggle button, the valves should be fully open, but it sounds exactly the same during Sport+ driving as when I toggle the button again (valves should be oem now) and drive in the same mode.

I think the test you want is with sport not sport+. I think the values act differently in track mode (less sound, optimized flow). Mine is much louder in normal with PSE activated, and Sport activated than sports+

That's my experience. I agree with Tupper.

mine is exact opposite … PSE much louder (and revvy) in sport+

I recall PSE being loudest in sport mode because of the pops and burbles.

It may seem loudest in Sport+ because of the higher RPMs, but otherwise I don't see why it would actually be louder

Hi there,
I’m looking at the charts on my phone so excuse the misread. Is the boost psi denoted on the left axis or the right? I hope it is the right otherwise I ain’t getting this tune!
Thanks.
