Problem is, there aren't any 992 on the dealer lots to drive. I've driven 991.1 but nothing newer. I would really appreciate any feed back from those that have made the move from the 981 platform to the 992. Thank you in advanced.
Is it possible you could drive a 992 at a Porsche experience center?
Another option would be trying to find one to rent at a reasonable distance from where you live on Turo.
Porsche itself also has a rental program that you might want to check out.
The program is called "Porsche Drive". It is easy to find if you search for it on line, on the official Porsche website.
In this forum most who have moved to the 992 platform have been very happy with it.
Hope this helps.

How did this thread go from "Are 2022s being delivered / EPA cleared" to "do you like it better than a boxster?"

LOL.

Just looking for info, people like Tompoodie get it. Guys like you, not so much. The Porsche community is a very sharing group so you must be new.

You can absolutely get information from the community, but there's a reason forums are divided into threads :-)

There are 17,774 total lines in the spreadsheet as of today, so they do appear to be updating the spreadsheet. For Porsche, still just the GT3 and GT3 Touring are on the list. Hopefully the delay won't be anywhere near last year - EPA approval came on November 12th and CARB was about 3 weeks later. And it's very difficult to get information on status - from anyone. Dealerships were completely in the dark last year - I even checked with some of the largest, including Hennessy in Atlanta, and they had no idea of what/when right up to the day certification was granted.

Awe - well records versus number of lines - it's still the same count and so it hasn't been updated. I looked back at the old downloads compared to pulling it down this morning and it's still the same. It's kind of maddening that's what we've had to resort too

I don't see how or why this should be a problem, especially with the GT3 911 variants already having the green light. Perhaps I'm just naive.

Then little different from last year. No reasonable source of information, including PCNA.
