GT3 Side Skirts on C2?

After following this thread for a while, I bought and installed the skirts. Suncoast shipped me a damaged skirt but replaced it free of charge. I was very happy with their customer service. The instructions on this thread were super helpful and it took about 60 minutes to do both sides. If I was doing it again, it would take about 1/2 of the time. The first side you do is kind of nerve-racking as you have to pull pretty hard to get it loose.

Definitely adds a nice touch for a quick and easy mod. Purchased from Suncoast and installed last night after lurking this thread. Here are some shots of it.

Look great!!! Especially in black
Will probably have mine in hand even before my (black) car arrives in Feb.

I had this problem as well. It was a combination of two problems: 1.) Fit, Make sure the fit is correct, the skirt needs to fit 100% flush. Push up on the skirt from the bottom to make sure that it is flush against the chassis before you insert the plastic screw. 2.) Orientation matters. It pops in a certain way and then turns to lock. I want to say it pops in so that the groove for the flathead screwdriver is perpendicular to the car lengthwise. You don't need to use a screwdriver to turn it though, you can do that by hand.

I removed the GT3 side skirts on my C2 in preparation for trading it for my 2023 cabriolet which arrives in a couple of weeks.
I reinstalled the original side skirts.
I have to say I prefer the look of the OEM side skirts and probably won’t install the GT3 skirts on the new 992.
