I ordered a set from Suncoast, waiting for arrival. My shop quoted $1K per side for paint and installation, does this seam reasonable?

When I took delivery Friday, the dealership installed them for free, and a set of clear markers!

Just picked up my car this morning from my 2 year service. Didn’t have much time to snap any pics today but I’ll get a better picture tomorrow without shade.

Suncoast is my local dealer and they give 10% off parts and labor for PCA members. $180 to install them. And they even delivered my old ones to my home for free today so I didn’t have to worry about carrying them!

$2k is definitely high, but nowadays IDK what the right price is for anything.

But definitely get them painted. IDK why people are leaving them matte on their carreras. It gets lost in the shadows and defeats the purpose of having them. Its matte on the GT3 cause it flows with the matte bottom front and rear bumpers. IMO.

Front Lip is already matte and so is rear lower bumper. I swapped out my stock matte skirts for matte GT3 skirts. Looks fine in real life. Plus no worries about scuffing.

Hmm. Hadn't considered scuffing. When getting in and out, do they get touched with your legs/feet?

$2k is highway robbery. It's a <1hr job on a lift. I'd say $1k max total including the absurd Porsche dealer markup they tack onto everything.

Looks way better in matte black IMO. They get lost if painted.
