I swear half the ppl here are 90 years old and drive Buicks and Oldsmobiles the rest of the time. Get the Sport Chrono and run it in Sport or Sport+ mode and you’ll never notice a thing. IOW nobody with any passion for driving would use ‘Normal’ mode which is where this concern is most evident….

Yes it is. There is a bit of noise at low RPM which I now know is normal.
Both the mounts and the controller were replaced.
If one orders sport chrono, a bit of engine mount noise seems to be part for the course, but not terribly obtrusive. I think the benefit outweighs the downside
Now that emotion is taken out of the equation for me.

I don't understand if you still have the same noise even if you changed the engine mounts.
Last week I had a meeting with the technical chief of my state, who told me that that noise is normal on all 992s.
if I want to change the engine supports, the 992 is under warranty.
But he told me in advance that if the change is not a given, the noise problem will be resolved.
help

Ilgio, it's a matter of degree. After the repair, the noise is down 80%.
I understand the confusion, sorry I wasn't more clear.

Thx
excellent if it has dropped by 80%. I'm a little afraid of having the engine dismantled to replace the supports. I'm afraid that unfortunately another problem may arise when replacing it

80 Percent is huge. I would think you could barely hear it now. Thank you for sharing

Default Motor Mounts

Hi there

a few weeks ago I had my turbo cabriolet ( MJ 2024 first licensed Aug23 ) with 400 miles in the shop ( 7 weeks ) for replacing the motor mounts and lots of other stuff ( Modell F mount meanwhile ) Issue still exists, dealer took back the car and paid money back.

Anyone have the new vendor mounts installed? Very discouraging that 6 generations later (rev A - F) the issue still persists. In any event, if there's anyone out there with the new vendor mounts curious what the outcome is/was.

either you and I are the only ones or everyone else is oblivious to the noise and or don’t care.

Problem still exists, I have got the F mounts, got the whole money back for the car, ordered a new turbo cabriolet , delivery end of January 24.

I keep you advised if the issue is still there with the new car, hopefully not.

Has anyone experienced the motor mount issue in a manual shift?

I gave up my 22 c4s took
a hit because of motor mount

I replaced it with a 24 c2 and same issue
the dealer got smart and Porsche Nashua realized if they refuse to fix a problem they say they can’t identify then I got no case.
bull xhit!
PCNA should be ashamed of yourself as they stand behind the dealer what a concept!
GAME ON!
