Default Auto Start hack

I've discovered you can put the A/C temp all the way down with the fan on low and the auto start is disabled. I kind of like it when its hot and the top is down.
Is there a way to turn it off without a hack?

Ugh, that may work, but seems like it's more trouble than putting the A/S icon on the main PCM Screen.

First thing I do when I turn the car on, turn the *** to sport or sport+ that disables Auto Start/Stop.

Can you still defeat the auto stop/start function by setting that up in Individual mode? I could with my 991.2 C4S - hoping that is still true for the 2022 992 GTS...

Not directly nope. Only if your Individual mode is defined as Sport/+

Same. Normal should be called watered down mode. I cant stand driving in it. It shifts to 8th going 35MPH. lol.

In auto mode, agreed. In manual mode Normal is quite usable.

Thanks for the info! I was hoping someone knew a way to make it part of the user profle. The A/C hack was nice because I don't have to do anything on start-up -- A/C setting is remembered. I hate having to hit "sport" when it stops at the first traffic light.

I have my individual setup for Normal with Start/Stop off. I start the car in my garage and flip the wheel 3 clicks to the right and leave. Takes .5 seconds to do and has become habit. Keeps the sound lower too once the start up revs drop when I’m in my neighborhood. Once car warms up I flip it to sport.

Surely there is a Porsche diagnostic tool / software that would allow you to do this no?

I was hoping that would be the case (just like the 991's). Lots of folks saying things they don't know about so thanks for helping sort through the myths.

I didn’t bother with this in individual because Sport is simply one turn instead of three.

But that also means sports exhaust on, if you have it.
