Me personally, I’d get it. Just adds another level of specialness IMO. And you will see it all the time. I got hooked on the alcantara roof ever since I got my Macan Turbo. Unfortunately my Targa doesn’t have a full alcantara roof liner due to the top, but the b pillar/hoop is alcantara lined.

I have the alcantara headliner in my 991.1 (it was standard). it is a small thing that you would think would be hardly noticeable, but it really upgrades the interior, making it feel more luxurious and welcoming, particularly in the colder months.

I've optioned the Racetex headliner on my upcoming 992 because I would miss it.

I have it in my chalk 992. I love it! On my 991.2 GTS, it had the roof, but not the A pillars. I ended up buying the A pillars and it made the overall look so much nicer. Its totally worth 1300!

I am debating adding it to my order but am concerned it will clash with my Truffle Brown chalk stitching interior.

On a truffle brown interior wouldn't they do a brown headliner? On my 991.1 espresso brown interior the alcantara headliner is espresso to match.

yes on truffle its brown alcantara....

I wish for the cost of the option you could choose color. On the GT2RS I love the red alcantara roof liner. would love to spec that in a 992.

Had it in my '17 C4S and liked it. Did not spec it in my new build however.
