Are you sure about that?

Yeah, I was going to post that same picture from the show standard equipment section of the car configurator. I know originally it made sense as when I ordered it I selected a different option specific to the gills. So maybe it has something to do with the color of the exclusive design. My SA and sales manager were looking at it, but they had way less of an idea about what I was asking that I did.

Yeah no one seems to know. I ordered the $170 illuminated gills too, it shows up on my Mulroney as excusive design. What I would call the gills do light up, so I'm happy with the choice no matter what it is called...

You mind posting a pic of it lit up?

Look at post #31. That is what you’re getting for $170.00.

I suppose you are getting a version of the ED tail lights because they are cleared, but it isn’t the version with the gills.

Post #18 shows the subtle differences between the housing with the gills and the one without.

A very precisely engineered hole

Update? There are already multiple comparison photos and illuminated photos in this thread. What more are you looking for? This thread is very clear and articulate on the differences.

My question is pretty simple. How would the "fish gills" which I circled can be illuminated if I have "Exclusive Design Tail Lights" configured. When I hit the brakes or I do car reverse or it will be illuminated all the time if LED is on?
Sorry for my bad English.

I’m not sure what actually causes them to illuminate, but when they do, the gills will look like the photograph you referenced. The gills are not always on.

Thanks for replying. I have checked on Youtube some of owners who has "Exclusive Design Tail Lights" configured. I saw them are not illuminated if owners hit brakes so it should be illuminated when reverse.

I’m not sure it happens in reverse either, but maybe somebody will shed light on the subject.

Not sure if the pun was intended but either way, good one!
