Yeah, I put Europe into the same bucket as the US. EU and all that.

Not surprised 911 is the best selling sports car, but am surprised that z4 is 2nd place.

I am driving the latest Z4 M40i right now with B58 and 382hp. It’s a great little roadster and with $70k fully loaded a steal compared to a Boxster. And the infotainment works!

Oh yeah, cool car for sure.
The B58 inline 6 rated at 382HP has shown on all wheel dynos to put 373-381 to the wheels which is obviously waaaaaay over the 382 flywheel # BMW posts but we know the Germans all tend to underrate their motors and some far more than others. Actual flywheel here is around 445 HP. Throw a piggy back JB4 or Race Chip GTS on there and you've got a damn strong 2 seater that plus 6 foot guy with some upper body is comfortable in. Still surprised that they are #2 in sales.

Wife needs a new car so been shopping for escalades/denalis and dealers all looking 10k+ over msrp
Could find a Porsche allocation so thought maybe I'd go a different route and get an SUV
Found a G550 I wanted.... $30k over MSRP

I really just need to take 6 months off from even thinking about new cars... its too frustrating right now.

Agreed. I've been telling folks that if you don't want / need a car right this second (e.g. old car broke and you need a car to replace it), I would highly suggest to wait until there is some equilibrium in supply and demand.

hi friend,
Which dealer did you go to? I live in irvine and I want to order a Carrera s or targa 4s. I was wondering if I need to pay over MSRP

Was just looking into getting a GT4RS, and the dealership near me that I've shopped at for YEARS is charging $75k over sticker for an allocation. I understand $10k-$20k but $75k? Holy

I was offered an allocation but instead of ADM, would have been required to get full PPF, ceramic, tire and wheel package and a watch. Wasn’t worth it to me but I’m sure someone took that deal.

Yeah that's cheap, average 4RS allocation currently is 50k(if lucky)-75k(easy to find).

Is this still a normal trend?
I'm looking to buy my first Porsche. Either a 718 GTS or a 911 base T or S. Ideally I'd also like PTS of possible. I have seen they're not doing any currently.

Would would be an ok markup on these?
I'm in TN but willing to shop wherever

pts not available for a bit, maybe not until .2. No reason to pay an ADM or mark up in that area.

You mean 992.2? I am not realistically ready to order until summer next year. I was configuring stuff and there was no PTS on the 718 GTS but not sure what the lowest trim is to get PTS on the 911. I have been back and forth on a bare bones T with PTS, T interior, aerokit, 7 speed, or an S/GTS also with PTS and aerokit but auto with the driver assistance features. Also want Euro delivery if that makes any difference

I will have to check around as the Nashville dealer said there is a markup on most coupes/sportscars
