Anyone seeing this practice? Was informed that many of the dealers in SoCal are chatting $10K over msrp for all 911 orders including Base and S. GT cars I get but Base?
Was looking to order in the near future but looks like I may have to wait it out.

Probably makes sense to expand your search radius. Markets like these really expose dealers for whom they really are.
Just went to a dealership earlier and they have a new 21 C2 and salesperson told me $10k over MSRP. At BMW they are doing $10k over MSRP on M4 as well.

Some BMW dealers are already doing $15k over sticker for the M4.

There actually are people that will pay ADM, let alone MSRP, on that ugly *** front end M4 car???...

Got my allocation for a C2S at a SoCal dealer. $2k discount for domestic delivery, MSRP for Euro delivery. GT cars are another story. Only dealers I know are marking up base cars are Irvine and Newport (though I’m sure there may be others)

Yes, and it’s sad as hell. There is a whole thread on the F80 forum on bimmerpost of guys (including myself) who are jumping ship to a 911/718 because of BMWs terrible design, pricing, weight, and “market to influencers” trend lately. It’s kind of wild honestly. Never seen that many M owners just abandon ship so publicly online before.
If you find a socal dealer selling build allocations at msrp let me know. I've spoken to enough around LA to know that for a C4S or T4S its ADM or nuthin right now.
When I checked around Newport, Irvine had dealer markup. I believe DTLA did as well. Irvine dealer sure had a pompous attitude about the ADM.
If I didn’t desire the 911, and that was my first experience with Porsche, it would’ve been enough to turn me away from the brand and head to the Mercedes dealer for an AMG GT instead.

I suspect you’ll find ADMs galore at the Mercedes dealership too. Heck, one of the local Toyota dealers is marking Corollas up almost $4k right now. They usually have 50+ of them, now they have 8 in stock.

I’m a supply and demand proponent. Let that set the price. If there’s expectation of something else there’s entitlement. Loss ofmarket efficiency comes at a price. Who here prices their goods and services below what the market will bear?
