Akra with stock cats and BMC = hardly any turbo spool/whistle if at all. Its like bone stock turbo noise levels now.
Akra does not react to valve button nearly as much as PSE does. That not a big deal. But it kind of makes the button seem not as useful.
I'll probably throw the sport cats back on the Akra and just rock it until I cant handle it anymore or until it grows on me to the point IDGAF!

Is it the start itself or the 1500 rpm idle that causes the noise? The latter is listed and perhaps can be changed with PIWIS, but I'm not sure if the consequences. As far as I know, it's related to being the cats to temps as quickly as possible to save polar bears.
What about some noise insulation at your garage door, start the car with it closed then open and drive away? Remembering of course that whatever that sits in line of the muffler gases needs to be fireproof (no lining with styrofoam).

When the wastegate opens up on the PSE for cold start, its louder for sure. But the Akra with the waste gate open it is VERY loud. You'll see! lol!
Akra way up in RPM is extremely loud too. At least it was with the sport cats installed. And Im fine with that part! WOO!

Good! Its a great sounding system. It sounds even better with the soul cats. Lots of turbos noise. WAY more than PSE with Soul. Its just cold start is loud. But this time around it didn't sound as shockingly loud on cold start as it did to me the day before. So I look forward you getting yours on! Id love to hear your feedback.
