We've got a couple on order, really excited to get the new 992 SOUL system in the hands of some 992 enthusiasts.
FYI, the SOUL 992 Performance Exhaust is currently not compatible with the standalone Sport Catalytic Converters due to packaging constraints; it's a full system from cats (or cat deletes) to tips. Just a heads up.
I have both soul pp sport cat and akrapovic exhaust on my TARGA 4. From my perspective, the AK CAT BACK system will be a perfect balance point of exhaust sound and comfortability of daily driving. It is the proper sound stock car should come with. However with the SOUL PP Sport Cat the vehicle is much louder which give you a tunning car feel (doesnt feel like a stock car should be). Also the could start is loud AF and turbo whistle noise which some people would like it some people may not like it. Performance standpoint and interview with other owner, the sport cat will smooth the torque curve on low end which give you a NA like feeling of engine output.

Interesting. I might remove my sport cats to see how much that tones down cold start. Because it's SO LOUD! That's my only complaint with this combo That cold start is just ungodly loud!

I have attached a video that i recorded for my car cold start.
It is much louder in real life that the entire garage feels like it is vibrating. You definitely need worry about your neighbor especially in morning.
The cold start is crazy. Plus between the sport cats and OEM cats. There is much more raspy sounds, the OEM cats have much clear sound track. Sport cat is louder but comes with murmur.
When you are in parking structure, the turbo whistle is out of this world. Feels like there are 100 people doing whistle together in it.
Performance wise i can see the low end torque drop which i did not feel on other downpipe that i installed on my any pervious cars. BTW my car has stage 1 tune on it.

Guys, this may seem minor but I really like the black tips to my exhaust. As you can see, it fits the look.
Akrapovic has those silver tips that I really don’t care for. I’ve been told that I can install their exhaust and keep my black tips, but I don’t want to spend thousands of dollars only to find that for whatever reason I can’t do that and the exhaust ONLY fits with those silver tips.

No way! I'm the guy you were talking too in the waiting room! lol. I already had the sport cats and was adding the exhaust. And you already had the exhaust and were adding the sport cats. This is too funny. So are you going to remove the sport cat and go back to the Arka only? I love how mine sounds OTHER than cold start. If I could disable cold start and it just idle normally, I'd be fine. But cold start is over the top loud with this combo. Otherwise it's perfect to me. Im going to call my dealer and see if they can disable cold start. If not, i will most likely be removing my sport cat.
