I have a C2S Gentian Blue arriving in August. I was all over the map with my colour choices, I started going in with Chalk as my preferred, then Racing Yellow, then GT Siilver, and now Gentian Blue with Slate Grey/chalk stitching interior, Classic rims and the Silver window trim. I may still switch back to GT Silver. lol

Gentian Blue it is. I prefer the Black/Beige standard interior over black, especially since it is a Cab. Please have a look at my Porsche Code: PNF5F4G4.

Interested in your opinions re: wood interior trim vs aluminum, and chrome window trim vs black (I have not seen an option to switch widow trim on a 2022 though).

Gentian over Mojave was actually my first choice, but reading on the forum, its suggested that chalk/skate grey interior would match the tones of gentian blue better.

I have since decided to switch to GT silver but now stuck between black/Bordeaux or truffle brown and white stitching.

I recently took delivery of a Gentian C2S. Having driven it for about 400 miles, I can report that it doesn't show dust and dirt too badly (not at all like a black car). Gentian changes color more than any other that I have had experience with in a Porsche. It is very close to midnight blue in the shadows or at dusk, but it really blooms in bright sunlight. I got the aluminum window trim and Carrera Exclusive wheels, and they compliment that shape and color of the car really well. My interior is chalk and slate grey. I was very pleased to note that the chalk seats are not as white and bright as they seem to be on the configurator. I'm quite happy with how this interior plays with Gentian Blue.

Glad to hear! I guess there is no aluminum trim for the Cabriolet?

I think that's right. I can't fathom how they'd put aluminum window trim on a cab.

I have GB with chalk/slate grey interior and Carrera Classic wheels. I looked at a GB car with the slate grey interior side-by-side and thought the lighter interior contrast was the right choice. I got the matte black window trim and my only regret is not going with the aluminum to tie everything together. It looks good in the sun or clouds and, like most dark colors, looks best when freshly washed. While NB is a very nice color, I think GB is more special and not just another metallic dark blue.

In cloudy weather and when the car is a bit dirty I feel that the color looses its pop. The car I test drove when I ordered mine was Gentian Blue and those were the conditions cloudy and the car was a bit dirty. That is my opinion on the color but you are not buying the car for me, regardless of the color you choose I am sure you will love the car.
No matter what color you pick when you live in NY it going to look dirty. Hope you enjoy washing your car!
BTW ,Just ordered a GB 992 GT3. IT WILL SPARKLE IN THE SUN

I have a GB C4S. Definitely shows dirty easily. But so does every other colour except silver and white.

Love the color w/ spider wheels & slate grey chalk stitching. Doesn’t seem to get any more dirty than any other colors I’ve had in the past but when newly cleaned nothing looks better.

I am really happy with my choices of Gentian Blue over Truffle Brown with chalk stitching and with blue roof.

I have a Gentian Blue 992 coupe with PCCB and yellow calipers, which contrast nicely to the car's body color. I get a lot of compliments on the color. The dealer salespeople say they like the way the car looks, but I have to remind myself that they are dealership employees.

As far as dirt goes- not one-third as bad as black, but Porsche people notice dirt others don't see.

As a comment, I recommend the PCCB brakes. Stopping power is out of the world, and according to the senior tech at the dealership, the brakes should last 100,000 miles if I don't track the car. You will like how the calipers look against the body paint. Cleaning break dust becomes a distant memory.

I do enjoy washing my car and it will pretty much always look good regardless of being in New York or any other state. So glad you are happy with GB.
