Sounds like we really don't know what tires our 992's come with until it shows up. I'm told tat my build may have Goodyears, Pirellis, or Michelins. I have never purchased a car that didn't come with the tires that were spec'd on the website. My car arrives 4/30/21, I guess I will just have to wait...

Mine came with the Pirellis. They’re fine and help protect the rims until Michelin has a proper fitment. To be clear, the Goodyear or Pirelli tires that Porsche puts on these cars are both fine OE options. Many folks are surprised by how good they are. 👍
As for not knowing? It’s actually not that unusual. A Mercedes can come with like one of a half dozen brands as original equipment.
The tires that end up on the 911 are likely a function of the best deal that Porsche could get during that given production week and the suppliers production capacity. Under COVID, the latter is probably more variable than it would be otherwise.

So which tire you get is a lot like which vaccine you get.

Goodyear F1, asymmetric 3, have to say I’m surprised as they are pretty good so far!
Don’t like the cold and you have to get the pressures right, otherwise decent tyre!
edit, just noted on the sidewall “made in Germany”.... if that helps

P-Zero. Good enough, I guess, but really want PS4S.
