Default Front latch campaign

Got my car back from it, apparently a new one for the 992. They replaced the front latch, I'm not sure how many cars are affected.

There should be a Campaign Number on the Repair Order.

Please share if you can.

According to the NHTSA, my June 2019 C4S isn't affected by the recall, but here's a link to it. It appears that only certain cars and build dates were affected.

Got mine back from having a rattle fixed last week, and found that they’d done this too.

2019 C2S. I think the build date was September’19

How does one keep track of recalls and TSB's

One should bear in mind that "Safety Recalls" mandated by NHTSA, are a small subset of all the recalls a manufacturer may make. NHTSA ONLY lists "Safety Recalls". Furthermore, Technical Service Bulletins (TSB's) can and often do encompass a far greater area of known and potential failures. The quantity of each, of the three, is typically a factor of at least 10 in any given year for any model.

I just spoke with my dealer. My car is now also affected by this latch campaign. They're going to address it when they swap my summer tires back on in 2 weeks.

My CS2 Coupe build is April 2019 and it is included. This is NOT a safety re-call mandated by NHTSA so the VIN utility will not include this. It is a Porsche TSB Bulletin fix. You will need to contact your dealer to see if your specific car is included. It looks like a broad build date window.

Yep, my C4S is a June 2019 build.

My latch was replaced yesterday. The new latch is considerably stiffer and more rigid than my old one. I am glad that I had it done.
