Thanks for sharing this; it's nice to know that I don't have any recalls for my 992.

I wouldn't jump and down for joy quite yet, my 992 C4S didn't show up in that tool, but was subject to the recall campaign.

Got my 2020 C2S back from:
- dynamic engine mount replacement
- coolant pump replacement
- front latch replacement
- 1yr 'complimentary' service (oil change)

Servicing dealer seemed to do an excellent job in that I don't notice anything different with the car. Was hoping for an incremental 50rwhp and 50ft#'s of Tq!!!

Thank you for the details of this front latch campaign. Does this site's search-by-VIN tool surface more recalls than the other one?

I'm wondering if searching by OP's VIN would return this front latch campaign: https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?

This page also advertises their NHTSA free SaferCar app which will send an alert when it discovers a safety recall for your vehicles. Nice!

I don't think it will. This site can search by 2020 Porsche 911 and only returns 3 open recalls, none of which is the WLG9 item (one of the 177 "Manufacturer Communications").

This latch issue is a campaign, not recall. The VIN search won't necessarily yield results.

Allegedly the dealers should call to get your car or for a campaign. They should also check if there's a campaign when you bring the car in for whatever reason. Seldom I got calls from the dealer to bring the car for a campaign, but the car has been way too often there, so I don't have a decent base to affirm what's the typical procedure.
A recall you should get a letter, call, email. Whatever they can do to track you.

I got called for the engine mount campaign. With the latch, I had the car in anyway.

Sounds about right. I would imagine that more pressing issues would get a call. Other things like speaker rattle would be tackled if the car is brought in.

What were your symptoms? I have a 2021 992 and keep getting warnings that say "Trunk Locking Emergency"
