Data point on the Focals - they are awesome. My Bronco has the upgraded Bang & Olufsen stereo but I swapped out the 4" rears with Focals from Crutchfield and they sound amazing. Highly recommended.
Also swap out the 3 - 4" in the front dash. I did all 5 and my Bronco B&O system sounds 10x better than stock. Also dynamat the crap out of the area around the sub. Helps a ton.

@stiff///M Agreed. I swapped out the 2 front dash with JVC's from Crutchfield and am very happy with the sound. I have not replaced the center speaker (yet) - it is the stock B&O.
I had the sub enclosure professionally wrapped with Dynamat and that totally eliminated all rattles and creaks from the bass. I'm very happy with the stereo now and get many compliments on it. Looking forward to seeing how the Burmester on my T compares.

Jealous you went with Burmester, it's my only regret with my build after listening to the base system.
For the center channel on the Bronco I went with this. You don't need a tweeter as it acts as a center channel. It sounds great and I added it after the other 4 and noticed a big difference.
At a slight tangent ….
As previously stated, loving the sound of the engine, but as a daily drive there are times I’m stuck in stationary or very slow moving traffic. The standard speakers are totally ****e!
This morning sat in a friends brand new Audi S3 and he played ‘Dani California’!
Then we played it in the T…. a HUGE difference in quality. Turn up the bass and the speakers rattle.
Has anyone (that didn’t spec Burmester) sourced a reasonably priced aftermarket sound system?
Talking around £/$/€ 2k ish.
Doing research and seems the amplifier is good enough, just the speakers and sound insulation that need replacing.
@Barkat03 myself and @Pivot have spoken to a guy in Nottingham and he’s sent us some package suggestions. Not sure any of them are perfect but maybe a combination would work. If you’d like me to send them to you, DM me your email address. Also found Cambridge Audio online had a suggestion that also might work.

10 Most Unnecessary Porsches Ever Built (And Why We Love Them)
I'll be following this closely. Personally, I'm probably fine with base audio from a usability perspective. I have had enough audiophile experiences that no high-end audio in a sports car is worthwhile (I blame a listening session with a $60k KEF Blade setup). I'd rather take the $5k Burmester upgrade cost and put it towards some new floorstanders.
That being said the engineer in me may get the best of it and I'll see if I can swap in some Focal Audio car speakers that fit. I've pulled apart the dash in the 3 Porsches I've owned prior to ordering the T, so I doubt the T will be safe from my curious hands.
These Focals (limited edition - limited to 911 kits) look interesting but relatively expensive….
Ha, this is like getting a group together at work to schedule conference call.
I say we go with September 10 (Sunday) for the 992 T meet. People will need to chime in on exact time since some may be driving a bit of distance. I’m flexible. Also, we’ll need to pick meetup spot. There’s a huge lot at the bottom of Bear Mountain which could work, but open to other ideas. Below is the list of 992 T owners showing up. Everyone on this forum with one is welcome!

Damn. I'd join IF Hilliard U.S. Vintage Grand Prix weekend wasn't happening at the Glen.
