Congrats... My T, along with a number of others on this thread, also goes into production on Friday!
As for the Tires: It is a long standing tradition to eagerly await your production pictures to see which of the 3 brands of tires you are given: Michelin, Pirelli or Good Year. Having owned a P car with all 3 brands of tires, I am pretty confident in what I LIKE... Michelin is far and away the best, by a MILE. Pirelli is a distant second, but still Very Good Tire (Porsche runs the P-zero at all their track events/schools... but only because they signed a racing sponsorship deal with them about 3 years ago)... Good Year Eagle F1 is my least favorite. I had this tire on my most recent 992 and after 5K miles I ditched it. The Michelin PS4S and Cup 2 tires are so much better on road or on track.
I think in general most people on Rennlist agree that Michelin is the best all around performer, but many have been happy with Pirelli. At the end of the day, all 3 tires are ultra high performance summer tires, and if I get te good year I will just commit to a 2-day track day session immediately to kill them as quick as possible so I can swap a new set of cup 2s on
ok ok.. thanks for the info.. fingers crossed for michelin.. for us 3/3 production.. its gonna be a long weekend with no pictures

My production start date is tomorrow. Thanks for the info on the tires--I guess I'm stuck with whatever I get, but I'm suddenly very curious! Will post pictures when I receive them.
Hola! I finally got to drive a car with RAS and my experience wasn't entirely positive. For context I had an allocation on a base that was supposed to be built in December and I passed that up for a T with RAS (confirmed allocation with May build date). Drove a car with RAS today to make sure I wanted it. Macboy is right. The car is massively capable with RAS and flows into bends beautifully. I can see it being a lot of fun on high speed hairpins. However, I didn't enjoy the rubber band effect on sudden sharp turns at slower (20 to 50 mph) speeds, and my butt just missed knowing exactly where my rear axle was and what it was doing. I also did not appreciate the pivot point moving forward. Made it feel much less like a rear engine car and more like a mid engine car (which some people like). For reference, I'm coming from a 2013 base 911 and the 992 steering rack is already so much sharper even without RAS that I really don't think I need it. The U turns are a cool party trick but that's not why I wanted RAS. Ultimately I'm sticking with the classic 911 experience and am kicking myself for not just going with the base 5 months ago. I would have been driving it now instead of waiting. Oh well, hopefully the T will depreciate less, even with my piggy build (glass sunroof, PDK, rear seats). Hope this helps someone still on the fence. Definitely go drive it before you lock.
Production Starts tomorrow... wondering now why the timeline says 10 days to build the car? start 3/3 end 3/13... used to be complete date was 3/10.
anyone else have a 10 day build window now?
@Zetta - thank you SO much for the pics! An amazing color that fits the T perfectly! Painted front lip and side skirts looks great too. I am in love with that car :-D

I was exactly the same as you @toph4242 now it's 11 days vs. your 10

Unrelated question, has anyone ordered the GT3 side skirts to go on their T? I'm wondering whether I could get the dealer to order / fit them. I'm going with the standard front/rear look so I don't know whether the GT3 skirts would look a little odd but I do like the extra width in the photos on the other thread.
If I had seen those pics before freeze very likely I would have changed my order to ruby. I'll let toph have the local glory though, such an epic color.

ordered though dealer parts was reluctant to do so without a VIN..... a little premature.....i'm sure you could get a gentleman's agreement on the courtesy fitting
