Love that interior.

One of the disadvantages of PTS is that you can't bring the exterior colour inside, either in the form of stitching or trim parts (dash/centre unit/door trim etc).
I asked if Porsche would do this at any cost and received a blunt "nein !".

So my "Mint Grun" T will be very bright on the outside but very black on the inside.

I am thinking of buying the Sun Coast 911 dash trim part (see below) which harks back to the days when Porsche (like Ferrari now) had model designation badges on the dash.
I will consider painting that mint green and mounting it on my dash.

https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/skudashlogo.html

I have mint grun paint and an airbrush which I have bought to customise a die cast 992 1/24th scale model I have bought, so I might as well give it a go.
If I like it, it will go in the car, if not it will go on my tool locker.

Thank you. I really love the interior in my current car. It's elegant with a dose of sport added via the Sport-Tex, which I also love and prefer over Race-Tex.

Sorry to hear about PTS. I PPF'd the black piano trim pieces to prevent scratches. If I were you, I'd get Mint Green wrap and cover the trim pieces that are normally painted by the factory. There is at least one outfit that can do custom color wrap. Alternatively, you could get them painted if you want a permanent solution. The great thing with either of those options is that they are reversible simply by removing the wrap or buying replacement trim pieces if you ever decide to revert. Did you get deviated stitching and if so, what color?

Thank you.
I did consider painting or wrapping trim parts.
The problem is that (according to my somewhat conservative OPC) this would be a massive job, particularly when it comes to the strip integrated in the dash.
However, once I get the car I will seek a second opinion.
My stitching is the standard charcoal like colour. There were greens available ,If I went full leather, if I recall correctly, but of course not one that would match the exterior.

Actually, then I just saw this video.

It looks like a good 2 minutes work on the dash.
Now, what did I say about my OPC....
Then the question will be, can the textured trim be separated from the removed parts for painting/wrapping

Regarding the above vid: WTF?! Mileage stopper? That's crazy!

Regarding interior trim removal: That long center piece over the glove box, for me anyway, was not that easy to come out. One really has to give it a some juice to pull it out because it's so well seated. And keep an eye on those cones that can go flying. But in the end, it goes back together tight and rattle free.

Scary.

20 lbs? No kids but certainly looks more complete in a $126k+ car. 🚙

Are you asking me? I just removed that long piano black piece in order to install my cell phone mount next to the radio.

A contrast color would be very nice as well. Maybe orange? Remember you don’t get all the stitching if you choose the standard color. The car of Wilder is not standard. Nothing wrong with standard, just letting you know (because the configurator is not always clear).
