I know this was tongue in cheek but you reminded me. I couldn't believe how heavy the stock exhaust components were. Between the cats and the center box, I've probably saved at least 20lbs.

I am hoping I use the T more, with winter tires I think i would drive it more year round and more likely daily it. My T has rear seats and while that isnt necessarily the best thing for weight I am hoping its a car I enjoy.
I like this approach. The T def seems like a more everyday usable car than a GT3, although that may be more perception than reality (meaning the GT3 may be just as everyday usable). I had a 991.2 T that was my daily driver including in the winter in the midwest. I put winter tires on it and it was great in the snow. I got caught in a snowstorm in Chicago and it was not a problem. I drove it through blizzard like snow squalls in northern Indiana - no problem. It seems a little crazy but it made for such a memorable experience driving the car through the winter and showed me these cars are very everyday usable if you want to. I've learned I have a much better experience with my 'special' cars when I drive them as much as possible. Sure I want to keep them nice, but the only thing I regret about driving my 911 through the winter is not taking enough pictures of it in the snow!

Exhaust is a great mod. Chosen wisely it will improve performance, reduce weight, and elevate the audible quality of the driving experience.

Poorly chosen will lead to headaches.

Removing the rear seat probably isn't as easy as removing the floor mats, but I'm thinking it's 2 beers or less.

Come on man!…That’s not helping the true T ethos of “light makes right”?

Moot point, deleters have the option to buy the parts from the Porsche parts store afterwards and have them reinstalled, while rear seaters can have them taken out and purchase the delete cover option. All in all, I’d like to see more teddy bear pics. 🦧

Ethos of the T? I'm going to remove my spare tire to save weight. Oh wait...

I heard that the Python Green paint weighs less than any other color

Since Porsche Charges you for the rear seat, deleted or not, this would mean paying for all that twice. I imagine the seat belts aren't cheap, and it raises more questions. Like is the wiring there for the seatbelt pretensioners in a deleted car? What would Insurance / Liability look like in a car that came from the factory with seating for 2 but you add in your own rear seats? etc...

Yeah, def would not be legal and prob not safe. Does the 992 have rear side airbags when equipped with rear seats?

kind of a joke, though I have seen seats removed and a Porsche cover available. Never the reverse. 😁

Default Just picked my new 992 T

Just picked up my new 992 T. Had a 991.2 T for 5 years, figured it was still worth a decent amount to trade into get some options I didn't get the first time around like RAS and full leather. Def like the new creature comforts even tho got 2 ways this time vs 18 ways. Looks great if not a bit softer. The 991.2 felt at times a bit too loud and hard riding for me. Is it bad that now I kinda miss that? We traded in my wife's S5 towards the 991.2 and the shifting and clutch feel immediately felt much sharper. When I drove it the 992, it almost reminded me of of the audi again, a bit soft and lazy. Much easier to drive but not as mechanical feeling. My wife when she took it out said the same. Great car but I kinda understand the YouTubers saying it's not as special feeling as the 991.2 T. Will post pics later when I get a chance

It’s a long standing tradition on this forum for people collecting their new cars to show them off with a set of pics. We’re waiting with bated breath….
