Default diamond program buttons on dash

really dumb question, but what's the difference in models/packages between cars that have 1 diamond dash button + exhaust on/off toggle, vs cars that have 2 diamond dash buttons and no exhaust on/off toggle?

Porsche Sport Exhaust has the one toggle. Without PSE, you get the extra toggle.

that's what I initially thought, but the car I was looking at online has PSE pipes, or are they just tips?

Early production 992s with sport exhaust did not have the dedicated toggle. They had two diamond dash buttons. My April 2019 C2S is in this category. I think (not sure) that the PSE dedicatd toggle was added beginning with June 2019 production? I programmed the first button for PSE manually.

The car in your link is an early production vehicle where they didn't have the PSE button.

Thanks. So whether the car has 2 diamonds vs having the PSE toggle, the car will still function with the same defaults, correct? I.e. when starting the car, which it defaults to Normal mode, the PSE will always be off. But if one wanted to drive with PSE on and still be in Normal mode, the diamond programmed toggle can be pressed.. and it'll then stay on for the duration of the drive?
