Allocations?

I've been on a list since July to order a C2S. When the Sept. allocations came out our dealership only was given one car. They don't even have a 992 in the showroom. I was told that unlike previous years when allocations came out monthly, they now come out in 2 month or 3 month bunches. My SA told me to check again in mid to late November. Sooooo....has anyone heard via the grapevine when new allocations will be available? I kind of get why the limited edition and GT cars are hard to get, and SUV are making them money, but you would think that Porsche would make their mainstay sports car more available

Start calling other dealerships. Look out of state, too.

I'm in the same boat and I am using a Premier dealer. There really aren't any C2S allocations floating around at other dealerships either. I'm fortunate in that after losing my father to Covid19 and getting it myself, it's just not that big a deal in life. I will get my car eventually...

They’re hard to come by, but not impossible. Call around - dealerships on the West coast get more allocations through the Winter months than ones in the Midwest and East coast.
That said, I recently purchased my wife a Macan S from the same dealer I purchased my 991 GT3 and 992 from and believe it or not, even that allocation was really difficult

I’m in Canada but I believe the Canadian and American allocations come out at the same time. Following along on this forum, there just doesn’t seem like many have had allocations come up recently

Porsche are building fewer 992's since they are focusing more on the production of the Taycan electric vehicle. That is the reason there are less allocations to be had.

My has pre-sold all its 911s. All allocations are sold as soon as they are available.

My dealer has plenty... they just got in 3 2021's that no one wanted to spec and have 3 2020's on the lot still that they can't move. From the midwest though so not the best "sports car" market IMHO.
