Default Chalk interior

Anyone with a good bit of miles on a chalk interior? Wondering how it holds up over time. I know it will take some extra care, but I think it looks stunning. Just worried how it will hold up.

on my 2nd 911 with chalk interior now. Had 35000km on the 991.2, 0 issues with cleaning and conditioning maybe 2 times per year. They are a lot easier to maintain than I expected. Just make sure you use some quality leather caring products.

I'm 13,000 miles in. Will take some pics for you later - bi-weekly maintenance and it stills looks fresh as when I got it. Definitely worth it. Do it.

I don't remember when you took delivery, but wasn't it earlier this year? Glad to seem somebody putting the miles on :-)

Yep, took delivery on March 7th! I love every second of it, but I also drive to LA once a day (100 mile daily total commute) plus two road trips, plus a bunch of spirited driving for no reason, so last week I bought a 2004 S55 AMG sedan from a friend just to drive to and from LA. I've never really felt the need to have a 'daily driver' and a 'weekend car' but lately I have been feeling like 13,000 miles in 9 months is pretty aggressive. Another part of me feels like I should just drive the 911 forever and not care about the miles...

The first Porsche I bought, 20+ years ago, I put over 20,000 miles in the first year and I just didn’t care. Did it hurt the resale a little? Yes. Was all my seat time worth a few thousand bucks? Heck yes!

I use those zymol for years and also have LeatherMaster care kit. In spring I bought some sonax leather care products which I haven’t used yet. Will share the result when I get to apply them.

Also curios on paint colors some of you went with. Pics would be greatly appreciated.

My allocation needs to lock. It's utterly insane the amount of time spent on the configurator.

Based on my previous experience with Porsche light colored leather, avoid wearing blue jeans, especially new jeans. The dye transfers to the seats. The blue dye will come off the seat, but you'll be cleaning pretty frequently.

I went with the slate/chalk on a gentian blue S.

Similar to me. I went with slate/chalk but I added slate seat centres. Night blue 4s for me with an MT

What products did you use for cleaning and conditioning the leather seats?
