Proclip works great and doesn't block any vents or controls. Just ordered another one for my 2008 V8 Treg

How does the proclip attach? I had one on my panamera and it gouged the leather trim..Even with a little pad under the edges

i haven't had issues with heat. I had my phone sitting there for my entire drive from Atlanta to NoVA, no issues (did 10 hrs straight 1 day). This was early December so heat was on. I do have a case for it, so maybe that helps or hurts, dont know.

I had chosen the same ProLine model as Siberian for my 992TTS. After trying the right-side mount version (where I had also mounted the earlier ProLine console mounts on my 991.1TTS and Targa4S), I decided that I preferred the left-side mount location version, because I found the minor interference with the left (volume) rotary **** less problematic than the minor interference with the right (selection/zoom) rotary **** on the console.
I am generally quite happy with the left-side ProLine mount, although not perfect, but have not yet seen what seems to be a clearly better solution.

Others presumably have different perspectives and experiences and I would welcome others’ posting their views and experience on better mounting solutions.

Not enough time driving (the roads have been an absolute disaster after the rain and 3 feet of snow on top) so haven't managed to take the NLRC out. I'll provide feedback when I'm able to put some hours in

This is what I use. I have a manual and it doesn't get in the way of shifting. The magnets are strong enough so you phone doesn't fall off when hitting bumps. Also the adhesive attaching this to the car does not leave any marks or residue.

I make a DIY phone holder by 3D printing.

It works greate with the car, it has wireless changing and thermoelectric cooling so the iPhone will not overheat.
I opensoure the design here:

I have an iPhone12 Mini and used a Magsafe mount with a 3M VHB double sided sticky mount. I did confirm that the sticky is removable without leaving a mark. I plug it into the cigarette lighter with a USB cable.

Here are the parts:

Also upgraded the almost non-existent OEM LED lightbulbs with this much brighter bulb:
