Default Phone mount/holder

Just wondering if anyone has used the Weathertech cup fine holder? I’m just looking for a place to put the phone while driving. This seems like a cheap and easy solution without damaging anything in the car. Thoughts?

The Weathertech solution is IMHO unnecessarily expensive. My wife has, for a couple of years, been using a "Macally Cup Phone Holder for Car Mount" which via Amazon is presently $20. It has survived her rather tenuous and combative relationship with all things mechanical for quite some time now. That alone is worth a 5 star ratting as far as I'm concerned!

Fits perfectly🤗
Actually, I have an iPhone X that slides in perfectly (and stays in place) at the slot located between the center console and bottom of the dash. Phone has an Apple silicon case on it.

The 992 comes with both a cup holder and open tub that fits into the center console. With the tub, even a large phone like the Galaxy S20+ (shown in photo) or Galaxy Note 10+ fits perfectly and securely in the tub. I find no need for a special phone holder.

That's what I've been doing but I find that the phone bounces of the sides as I accelerate and brake. I was thinking of something that would hold it steady.

I am a huge fan of RAM's stuff. Their products are built like military and law enforcement equipment, because the government is a big customer of theirs. A RAM mount will last you forever -- it's the proverbial "quality piece of kit".

Here's their cup phone mount, though really, they offer mounts for everything. Be sure to browse the site.

If you're spending six figures on a car, you want something that's actual quality. For a little more than the cheaply made plastic "cup phone", buy something made out of metal with quality machined parts. Made in USA.

Please consider T-Design9! Our company developed a range of phone holders specifically for 991. They all provide secure, easy, ergonomic, one hand use solution. They all designed for spirited driving that people buy 991 for! Can be quickly installed with no damage to the interior.

We have universal mechanical holder, magnetic, and magnetic charging holders. Our magnetic holders use very serious magnets and technology that nobody else in the industry uses

Wireless charging (it shows 981, but it installs in the same place in 991)

I ordered one specifically for the 992. Set it up, looked like crap for various reasons and was not in a good spot with the drink holder in the rear of the console. I put it in my truck, and its the greatest thing ever. Porsche 992 - No, F250 - A big yes.

I don't use the phone while driving but want it out of my pocket. The center console is okay but I never remember to take it out when I leave the car and have to return to get it. I am looking for a simple solution where the phone is visible but needs no installation at all.

With wireless CarPlay, I leave my iPhone in my pocket. For longer trips, it gets put into the center console to charge. If you have an iPhone, it's not terribly complicated.

Porsche owners with Android devices have a much greater need for phone mounts.

Mostly just leave it in my pocket. No long trips yet, but will be watching this thread for suggestions!

I understand that but when I’m driving for multiple hours I like to take everything out of my back pockets so I’m not sitting on the phone or my wallet even. Just looking for an easy solution, not a particular issue.
