Just came up with this today. I used a 9Y0 mount from rennline (took it from my cayenne), and bent the end a tad. There is one screw you can mount it to under the trim. Personally I like the phone behind the steering wheel as it won't really interfere with any controls vents etc. Also rennline did say they were working on a mount but I wanted to see if this would work.
I got the ProCLip as well but I hated Apple's white magsafe. I went and ordered a black one (with black cord) and of course it didn't fit as it was a tad wider. Dremel to the rescue and some strong dual sided black adhesive to hold it in place. Wires were fed under clip up into the console and out of sight exiting by the 12v power outlet in the footwell. The white was just a non starter IMHO
siberian
PS I let the folks at ProClip know if they could enlarge the receptacle by 1/8" to accept other non OEM magsafe, they passed it on to their design team
I don't understand the need for a phone clip. Not trying to be snarky but why mess up the aesthetics of the interior when car play and charging is available?
Charging in the arm rest provides no ventilation and for those of us who do not use CarPlay and use Waze for navigation and music, it's a must. Aesthetics are an individual's appreciation covering every optional item so YMMV.

Rennline did some R&D on my 992 for the phone mount, and I can confirm that they will be releasing a 992 mount shortly. I'll post the link once it's available.
The 992 comes with both a cup holder and open tub that fits into the center console. With the tub, even a large phone like the Galaxy S20+ (shown in photo) or Galaxy Note 10+ fits perfectly and securely in the tub. I find no need for a special phone holder.
This is I what I designed and made for my iPhone. It's an Apple MagSafe charger, with the wiring hidden in the center console. Installs in about 30 seconds.
Two things:
1) Anyone saying "I just don't get why you don't put it in the console" simple doesn't understand the convenience of single-handedly placing your phone onto a magnetic mount that self-centers and charges.
2) As for modifying the console with the mount - I ordered a replacement trim piece first. This way I can put it back to stock in literally seconds.
this is awesome. I see the trim panel is about $70-80 so its an amazing solution if you are an apple user.
Can you share, if you still are liking the setup? Any cons? also and i guess most importantly, how (or where) did you power it?
