i definitely agree on driving safety nannies. But basic convenience things like a decent stereo, keyless entry, side mirror that dips in reserve, electrically-operated seats, heated seats, LED headlights, etc are where I don't like it.

As I mentioned earlier, I do think 992 has added a lot of those things so it's not much of an issue now. Now that I know how much weight power seats add, I somewhat get it. But I think manual should just be a no-cost lightweight option.
